For example, if a somebody is hit with the ball in the outfield while playing baseball, that is a risk of playing the game, and no lawsuit can be brought. On the other hand, if the coach didn’t make sure a player was wearing a helmet to pitch and gets hit in the head with the ball, that’s negligence.
